2025 WNPA Better Newspaper Contest

Welcome to the Washington Newspaper Publishers Better Newspaper Contest page. We are grateful to SmallTownPapers for their continued sponsorship of this event. If you are interested in archiving your old newspapers, check with them. There are ways it can be done for free!

On this contest page, you will find links to the rules for each category and a flyer that explains contest dates and categories. Click the download buttons for the information you are interested in.

You can begin submitting entries on April 1 at BetterBNC.com. The contest closes for regular entries May 7. Tourism special sections can be entered until June 13.
