2019 BETTER NEWSPAPER CONTEST
Welcome to the Washington Newspaper Publishers Better Newspaper Contest page. We are grateful to SmallTownPapers for their continued sponsorship of this event.
Here you will find links to the rules for each category and a flyer that explains contest dates and categories. Click the download buttons for the information you are interested in.
The biggest change this year is that all entries, with the exception of web division entries, must be submitted as full page PDFs showing how the entry was displayed. This includes news stories, ads and photos. Don't just link sites where the pages are displayed. Grab a PDF and submit that. There have been a few other changes, so look over the general rules sheet before submitting your entries.
You can begin submitting entries on April 1 at BetterBNC.com. The deadline for regular submissions is May 3, 2018 and June 3, 2018 for Tourism sections.
